Drop-in coworking sessions

Drop-in coworking sessions are here for you whenever you need support, structure, or simply a quiet space to focus alongside others. There are two ways to join:

You can join us twice a week:

  • Monday 2pm – 4pm

  • Thursday 10am – 12pm

Each session follows a simple, supportive rhythm that helps you settle in and get started with ease.

We start with a short check-in and a bit of space to land in, share what you’re focusing on, and gently choose what would feel good to get done.

Then we move into focused 25-minute work blocks using the Pomodoro Technique. These short bursts are there to help you stop overthinking and start making steady progress, even if you’ve been stuck for a while.

After each work block, we regroup. This is a space to share progress, ask questions, get unstuck, or simply reset before continuing.

This cycle repeats across the session, giving you structure without pressure and momentum without overwhelm.

There’s optional accountability, but no expectation to perform. You can arrive exactly as you are, with your to-do list, your ideas, your resistance, or your messiest task.

It’s a calm, BS-free space to work alongside other business owners in perimenopause, also just trying their best.

£25 per month for access to up to 8 sessions (or £6 PAYG)

  • "I’ve joined quite a few of the PAUSE Network co-working sessions now... the working blocks really help to focus my mind and not overwhelm myself if a job is quite large. Heather helps clarify what each person is going to set out to do, & how much they’d like to check back in with as well, which is a hugely empathetic way of guiding the session. In these intervals you can share as much or as little as you like, with Heather & the other members offering insights if needed, before the next working block begins. I’ve been so productive during these sessions, so much so that I look forward to the next one, as I know that I will get so much more work done than when I’m left to my own devices….”

    — Paget, Scholars Cakes

  • "For me there’s several reasons [why coworking works well for me]… Accountability – it helps to eliminate faff and distractions. Life is so unbelievably loud these days and our attention is constantly being pulled in so many different directions, which is exhausting. But when you’re co-working you are working in community, so there’s accountability for what you said you’d do and there’s a reciprocal accountability, honouring listening and being interested in what others are doing. Community – building relationships with women. This is nervous system work. We’re working together and we’re co-regulating. Women are wired for connection and our nervous system needs connection to thrive. The PAUSE Network specifically... there’s no performance, just support, laughs and connection. Being in community with fellow supportive women is also boosting our oxytocin."

  • “When you’re at home by yourself, you just tend to get distracted very easily and it can feel quite lonely… Whereas when I come to the co-working sessions, we have these 25-minute bursts of work that are really productive. We check in, we have a chat, and it’s like the ideal balance of connection and chat, but actually getting stuff done. I’ve found that I’m so productive in those two hours and I also had a really good time. So it makes work fun. I would highly recommend coming along.”

    — Lauren, Cosmicology.space

  • “…It’s such a lovely group of supportive women and it’s great to have some company and support. Just having you all on for a couple of hours whilst I’m working makes me so much more productive.”

    — Alex, Travel Counsellor

  • "As someone who works for themselves from home, whilst juggling the family and life balls, our weekly co-working sessions give me steadiness and have made a huge difference. With protected time to talk through ideas, challenges and priorities, focusing is so much easier. Heather has a calm, supportive way of helping me untangle tasks and steady my thinking without pressure."

Online admin days

We have one admin day a month which runs between 10am - 3pm

Admin Days are dedicated spaces to step back and tend to the practical side of your business. We begin by settling in and setting a clear intention for the day, giving you a moment to pause, reflect, and decide what truly needs your attention. From there, the day unfolds through a steady rhythm of focused work sessions, gentle check-ins, and supportive breaks, helping you make progress without pressure.

The flow of the day looks like this:

  • Reflect on any shifts in your energy, priorities, or capacity

  • Review your current offers and explore what still feels aligned

  • Revisit your ideal client and check you’re still offering what they need

  • Create marketing content such as social posts, emails, or outlines for future content

  • Sort digital clutter – inboxes, files, folders, or project boards (Trello, Asana, Notion etc)

  • Catch up on finances – updating trackers, filing expenses, or raising invoices

  • Make at least one clear decision you’ve been putting off

Admin can be dull, isolating, and very easy to avoid when you’re working alone. But when you’re doing it alongside other business owners, something shifts. There’s a natural sense of accountability, a shared focus in the room, and the quiet encouragement of knowing everyone else is tackling their own list too.

The tasks themselves don’t magically change, but the experience of doing them does. It becomes lighter, more engaging, and far less lonely.

By the end of the day, you’ll leave feeling clearer, more organised, and with meaningful progress made inside your business, not just around it.

Online Workshops

Upcoming workshop: Introduction to Squarespace

Weds 22nd April, 12pm - 130pm (UK)

A live, screen-sharing session where I’ll guide you through setting up your Squarespace website, so you can see how it actually works - helping you feel comfortable inside the platform so you can move forward without second-guessing every click.

Inside the workshop, we’ll cover:

  • How Squarespace is structured (pages, sections and blocks explained simply)

  • Where to find everything in the dashboard and what it all means

  • How to edit text, images and layouts

  • How to move things around and start shaping a page

  • The key settings you’ll come across when getting started

  • How to launch your site

By the end, you should be left feeling more at ease inside Squarespace, with a clearer understanding of how to start building your site.

This is a relaxed, supportive session designed to help you get familiar. Bring your lunch and watch along.

You’ll receive the recording to watch back, any time you need it.

Pause and step away from the noise of everyday life and business, giving yourself the space to reset, reconnect, and breathe again…

In-person day retreats

Running a business asks a lot of you.

You’re the decision-maker, the organiser, the one holding it all together. You spend so much of your time supporting clients and keeping things moving forward.

We will be hosting day retreats twice a year to give you the chance to step away from all of that for a while - designed for business owners who want to pause, reset, and be looked after for a change. A space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and spend time in the company of other people who understand what it takes to run a business when you’re a 40+ woman.

The rhythm of the day is soulful and nourishing, with time to ground, reflect, move your body, and rest. You’ll be supported with calming practices, nourishing food, and space to breathe, think, and just be for a while.

Below is a sample itinerary so you can get a feel for what the day might include.

If this sounds like the kind of day your nervous system has been craving, you can join the waitlist to be the first to hear when the next retreat is announced.
